With the Susquehanna River clear and low, the walleye action has been fair, mostly in the late evening.  Old Trail Tackle & Sports Salted Tubes in motor oil, chartreuse glitter and pumpkin seed colors are picking up some nice walleye.  Smallmouth bass are being taken on medium live shiners, Mizmo Salted Tubes in firebug colors, Heddon Tiny Torpedos and large live nightcrawler.  Some of the better small action has been from the Adam Bower Dam south to Hoover’s Island.  Both sides of the river have been productive at times.  Anglers have been reporting some good smallmouth bass and walleye fishing in the Danville area.  The baits of choice have been Rapala Skitter Props,Glass Shad Raps and Yo-Zuri 3D Shad lures.  There were several muskie caught this week.  The lures of choice for muskie have been River 2 Sea Whopper Plopper, Swim Whizz and Salmo Maas Marauder Juniorworked quickly through deeper holes these lures are producing quite a few large fish.  Channel cats and flatheads have been hitting well late at night in the deeper holes in the most common areas.  The baits of choice have been sunfish, large live shiners, nightcrawler and prepared factory catfish baits.  


Adam Wilks caught this catfish which is a around 24", right below the Fabridam on a shiner.  Great catch Adam!
